This is a place for any member or regular attender of Jericho Road Church to post a story of how they've experienced walking in the way of Jesus in their everyday lives. We hope you find these stories inspiring.

As most you know my husband, Tim, passed away from Melanoma in Dec. last year. If someone would ask me what God has done in my life, my first response would be he brought Jericho Road right to my doorstep!
Ok, most parents will tell you that children might not be so enthusiastic about "tutoring club". In fact one Roadie asked me if I should change the name to "reading club". I held fast to the name because, honestly I was too lazy to change the word document I was using.
A few weeks ago I asked for prayer at church. I was putting together a tutoring club for the children who reside in the Roosevelt Road Apartments. I had numerous volunteers and was actually concerned that I wouldn't have any children to tutor.
He said the whole house was painted..and looks great!!! He
is also so pleased to have that hole in the family room ceiling
covered. And the garage got cleaned out!!! WOW...I saw it
Is there a greater image than seeing God's church working together in love for a family in need? This weekend I witnessed this in action, and it was incredible.
It’s funny what God puts in your head. I was slightly annoyed when the simple phrase ”loaves & fishes” played in my head over and over on a daily basis for more than a month. I attributed it to the May, World Vision serve project. Our little mission team of four had decided to stretch the Roadies (our unofficial name for church members) and ask everyone to collect enough items to build 252 aides care kits. Our 120 members needed to collect over
This past week my brother had 2 visitors from Germany. My brother spent the last two years working in Germany at a L'Arche Community, where he lives with and cares for adults with various physical and mental disabilities. One of His co-workers and one of the core-members came to visit. My family had the privilege of spending just about every day with them, and it was an awesome experience. There was obviously some language barriers, but we were able to communicate fairly well.
As most Jericho Road Church members know, we as a church have decided to help support, and walk with a man recently released from prison names Carlos. The sponsorship is managed and run by Koinonia House National Ministries. As part of this partnership, Jericho Road Church has different host families who take Carlos in on Sundays to basically spend the day with. My wife and I decided, along with her parents, that we and our two kids would volunteer as a host family, and this past Sunday was our first Sunday with Carlos.
