We believe that all of life can be an act of worship to God (1 Corinthians 10:31) – our work, our play, our relationships, our service to others and much more.

But our culture often refers to "worship" as what we do when we gather together on Sunday mornings with other followers of Jesus. For Jericho Road Church, these "Sunday Gatherings" happen at 10:30 a.m. at Lowell Elementary School, 312 S. President St., in Wheaton, IL.

Our worship gatherings are:

  • informal (how can you be anything else when your sanctuary is a school gym?)

  • participatory (anyone can share during "Soundbytes")

  • lightly liturgical (with thanks to the rich liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer)

  • biblical (with God's inspired Word as our pattern to follow the way of Jesus)

But on the second Sunday of every month, we don't gather at Lowell School – we go out in the community to serve! During these "Serve Weekends," we worship God by serving people of the community in a variety of locations.

Children are welcome to join with us during our Sunday gatherings in order to learn experientially about God. During the message time, children in K-4th grade are invited to a story and activity time.

Nursery care is available for infants and preschoolers with a team of caring adults and students in nearby classrooms.
